Hello, NG users!
My name is Marcos Irizarry. I am a student at the International School of Design and Arquitect in Turabo University, Gurabo, Puerto Rico. Goddamn, that's a mouthful. So anyways, I specialize mostly on illustrations, but I'm always trying to balance it out through various styles and master them all.
My brother was the first person who introduced me to some ways of doodling and drawing at third grade. I remember those semi-Ricky Martin ninja drawings with bicep implants. I know, right? A ninja.
As time pass by, My mother brought us to a school that shows anime lessons. Worked for my brother. Worked for me too, but not that much. So with what I learned I kept drawing even more stuff. But again, I was not satisfied, since I was drawing by guidelines. So I set my hand free and start making cartoons. I never would have known my old drawings would have been the cause of me been the guy who I am now.
That being said. Here is one of my artworks!

Hola hermano, es bueno ver a otro puertorriqueño salir de la isla y mejorar como artista.
Brother, you really need to get some studies going, you have a very basic concept of the human body and how it works so what I suggest is you tons and tons of figure drawings, just get a sketchbook and fill that baby up with as many sketches of people as you can. And of course keep on posting here, post as much as you can and as often as you can. Good luck mate :)
