Comicon in San Diego, July

Is anyone planning to attend Comicon in San Diego this July?

We are preparing a 20x10 booth to promote Alien Hominid. We're gonna have some never-before-seen merchandise as well as some cool freebies that should generate a bit of buzz... It's all TOP SECRET just like everything else I'm working on nowadays. Meh.

But the booth is gonna rock - we'll have consoles set up so you can play what should be the final version of Alien Hominid, and for the first time ever: QUALITY NEWGROUNDS SHIRTS! I'm having new shirts made... They are sort of an olive green, with the full color NG tank logo on the front (it won't be an iron-on printout like the Cafepress shirts). I decided web addresses aren't cool on shirts, so it is just the logo on the front and nothing else.

I'm having 144 shirts made, so if I can sell them all it will cover the cost of the trip (staying in a hotel for eight days in San Diego isn't cheap - I normally sleep in the office where we work on the game).

if the shirts are a hit... you need to offer them to people online... not all of us can get to san diego, you know!

Aw man, after waiting several years for a shirt with no web address, it's pretty disappointing to find that you're making one that I won't be able to buy. Sell them on the site; you'll make millions!

Sounds awesome Tom. I am unable to go but those shirts and the booth you are setting up sound intersting. I would definitly buy a shirt if it were online so be sure to put them up!

Also, post a bunch of pictures later of the event. It sounds intersting. I wish I could go.
