Since I'm slightly new here, I always wondered what the BBS was like a few years ago. What was it like?

I don't really remember. Something about Wade coming into chat, me and a few mods insulting him, and then him removing the irc java applet from the NG chat page, saying that chat had deviated from the site and was no longer representative of it.

back in the day the BBS threads were great we had animated sigs and it was alot less circle jerky with the kids that were on, but now it is and I could give names but I won't.

The BBS used to be a happy place. It had flowery meadows, and rainbow skies, and rivers made of chocolate, where the children danced and laughed and played with gumdrop smiles.

Pretty much the same, just more activity. Back in 2003-2005 users from before then were complaining about new users, people who weren't funny tried being funny by recycling material from 4chan, etc.. The only difference is the mods were much more active and strict, and a lot more crews were active (The star crew, the kitty krew, etc.)
