Merry Christmas Tom and everyone! It's a little late but that's okay. I got lots of stuff for Christmas, so I feel a little spoiled. Some movies, some nice shirts, a game, a book, you know. But I had a very good Christmas this year! I didn't get through my list of Christmas movies and specials I wanted to watch but next Christmas. Next Christmas.
Now that it's over though, I'll obsess over Christmas for a while and wish it were here until I manage to pump myself up for the warmer weather. Pretty much a yearly thing, but whatever.

I never viewed myself as a shallow, materialistic buttface until I didn't get jack squat this year and it Lisa-tore me apart. If I send you a thingy in the mail, along with a Sharpie, a stamp, and some candy (and maybe some used scratchcards for luck) would you sign it so it becomes a thingy signed by Tom Fulp and save Christmas?

A device to connect my Xbox 360 controller to my PC... IT WAS BROKEN.
(but I found an easy alternative until I get the device fixed)
And a Japanese gaming mouse. The manual was useless because nobody I know speaks Japanese.

It would have been so rewarding to have Cathode Raybots be the gift for someone out there who didn't get any gifts. :(
Although damn, trying to launch a game would have really messed up Christmas Day... I would have been checking reviews all day and probably would have come to the office to fix bugs, instead of playing with the kids. Mental note for next year... Only plan launches for a week AHEAD of Christmas and finish Christmas shopping FIRST.

We ARE expecting more sign-ups and retained users with some of the things coming this year but beyond that we should just have some good momentum going with interesting features now that the redesign is behind us. Still gotta fix that unicode issue with the weird characters appearing when people paste in text though.
