How did you guys come up with your username? Some of you guys have very unique usernames, and I'm curious to what they mean, or why you chose them. Mines not very creative, my name in real life is obviously Jeff (My nickname is Jeffy) and Jeffy was taken, so I added a random X. Tell me about your usernames!

When I was 12 at school we had to write a letter from the point-of-view of a Polish prisoner of war in WW2 and sign it with an Eastern-European-sounding name. The guy next to me signed his as Yurgen Burgen and I thought it was funny so I started using it in chat rooms and whatever else.

"Klobb" because I loved the gun of the same name from the game Goldeneye 64 despite it's status as the shittiest weapon in existence (rooting for the underdog, handicapping myself for a challenge, or just being a hipster? You be the judge), and in general sounded like a cool, unique, and recognizable name. The 17 is because when I first tried making the username on here, there was already an inactive account going by Klobb, so I randomly threw in the 17 for no reason other than that. Even if the 17 had a purpose, I've long forgotten about it.
Am I bitter about not getting my intended username? A bit, yes. Do I want the other, inactive account deleted so I can take my place as the Klobb? Nah. No point since I go by as Klobb17 on plenty of other sites and such by now. Plus there's a few chumps out there who also go by as simply Klobb, so the 17 helps me stand out a bit, I suppose.

Last name was BlueBlade. When I started to release how stupid and immature it sounded I couldn't get passed the 'colour in name' thing but I also didn't want a colour to define my online image. At the time I was more into graphics than I am now and so working with one colour really limited my creativity and stylistic choices. After all that consideration it doesn't really matter now that I don't work in Photoshop much plus I used to take myself way too seriously online so if I could choose a new name now I'd probably dicknig*ercunt.

Back in the days where you can just edit your profile and change your username whenever you want, I made this one out of pure randomness when I was about 12 or 13 years old. I got bored with the one I had, and the fact that it's in all lowercase proves that I was young when I made it.

My real name is Maurice, but my friends always call me Aus in real life. It comes from when I used to play football. Everyone in my team had a one-syllable nickname which was easier to shout quickly when you wanted to have the ball.

Since Aus was already taken on NG at the time I signed up, I decided to go with Auz.

I used to study Spanish and during one lesson I came across the word "Mismo". Which can mean "Myself" or "The same as". So initially I thought it sounded fun and then I kind of like the idea of being myself and also the same as... whatever.

Also later I learned from another Newgrounder that it is also a word in Philippine, and when I look at google translate it says it has three possible usages. "Very", "Herself" and "Person".

By accident. It was meant to be Listers (that's why the L in my name is capitalised) which itself was made by accident for the same reason. Lister was taken on habbo so I messed around and created the account name Listers. Listers was taken here so I accidently created the account name aListers. In fact, all of my user names with the word "listers" in them were made by accident.

The name lister came from red dwarf.
