This is a general question to all artists on Newgrounds and, indeed, to all artists who do not post work on Newgrounds, but how the heck do you make your artwork? Is it some computer programme or some kind of special materials and eqiupment or special techniques or what?? I mean how do you get the art so clean-cut and colourful without losing any of the detail and sharpness? The reason I ask is because I love all of the art you guys are posting here on Newgrounds and I'd like to get into it myself, but I'm not sure where I even begin! Thanks :)
everything comes with experience, and willingness to change, and learn, and observe, and listen.
all you need to do is start drawing. and to draw with the purpose of improving. it doesnt matter what you use to do it really, if you are willing to invest the time in to learn how to use your medium. we for the most part do our work with a machine called a tablet alongside various drawing programs. if you dont know how to draw at all, you really dont need one of those yet.
Clean Cut = Use a smaller, and crisper brush
Colourful = Up the Chroma, Saturation, what have you.
Also, making your art clean-cut comes at the expense of detail and sharpness? This is new to me.
There is no "correct" way to create anything, as long as it works for your style. Btw, not all good art is clean and sharp, that's just a matter of how much detail is desired. And don't think it it's easy to create something nice to look at. It takes time. A LOT of time. It all depends on how much time you're willing to put into it. With enough time, you can accomplish anything you want. Also tablets.
That's all I think.
