I don't visit the Flash portal as much as I used to, but I love how Newgrounds is home to almost all of the old classics that got stolen and big on YouTube. Charlie the Unicorn, Numa Numa, The Ultimate Showdown, etc. Newgrounds has tons of content ranging from experimental projects to excellent games and animations.

The art portal is also nice, being a 'more masculine' version of DeviantArt, if that makes sense. Everything from hentai to pixel art to 3D modeling, I've really come to realize how much sheer talent Newgrounds has, although I don't really frequent the art portal too much.

The audio portal might be my favorite aspect of the site. Hundreds of thousands of songs created by independent artists, all downloadable for free and easy to feature in games without much of a copyright issue or even having to take up memory in the actual game file. You could spend forever listening to all of the stuff we have here, and the fact that it's all free just boggles my mind. Newgrounds has the only audio portal on the entire internet; it's definitely Newgrounds' most unique aspect.

Finally we have the forums. A fair balance between active and intelligent, the forums can get bogged down with shit a lot but there are also some really brilliant users here, both funny and helpful.

Overall the audio portal is probably my favorite part.

The part of the community which I fit into and can enjoy being with. The community as a whole is mostly decent when it comes to the regular users etc. but even then there is of course a small close nit group of those who I find I can really enjoy the company of.

As for the features on the site itself, the general forum. A lot of useless stuff, but always some good threads or posts and a nice amount of spam threads to be silly within.

I do like me a healthy dosage of BBS daily. I used to enjoy the flash portal as well but it seems to have slowed down with the rise of alternative video-sharing sites and methods.

I dunno, something about the anonymity of the BBS allows me to fully discuss my thoughts and feelings without any following repercussions of doing so using my true identity around people i know. I enjoy that a lot, and NG is also a great place to keep up-to-date with interesting current events and whatnot... At least, on a good day. To be fair to the BBS, doomsday seems to be a common topic of interest on sites beyond the BBS such as Facebook. Can't tell you how many times i've seen a status consisting of "People are making doomsday jokes like there's no tomorrow"

Well i love this site for the funny animations and now also the games, back when i started on here 11 years ago it had some very random humor aswell as some odd toons, now while they dont have that anymore there is still the fun games, and ofcourse i enjoy writting a review or two.
