Do you like your voice?

Having finished a singing 101 class at my college, I got to familiarise myself with my voice since I rarely talk. Even less out loud. Well, I don't like it. It's too damn low and I can't sing mah favourite songs. I even have trouble going half-way through the alto vocal range, to you musicians here. If you think about it, most singers sing pretty high up and I can't fucking do that - at least, not yet. I've also got that Mediterranean tone in my voice going on, and it only makes it worse. Fuck. It's bad for singing (what I want), but it's okay for speaking. You can hear me attempt to sing in one song I uploaded here.

No. Its deep and people mock me because of it. Its also mono toned and has little expression. I've had people tell me they cant tell if im happy or not.
Maybe everyone I know is an ignorant cunt.

Also when I speak people say I talk too loud. I cant be any quieter this is my natural voice. Any less would be more of a whisper really.
My friends dont mind. Im self aware, more so than most people. Perhaps a talent of mine...
Anyway, they dont seem to notice and my voice changes abit. More than slightly actually...my voice acting demo is actually my normal voice around my friends. So maybe it just deepens around people I dont like or dont know, either as a subconscious way of scaring them away or impressing others. It does make me sound more professional.

Still it has too many downsides for me to be okay with.

No I don't. I never even try to sing. I've heard if you put two books in front of your ears, like the guy in the pic, you will hear what your voice sounds like to others.

Well, people tell me that I have a really deep voice and I sorta do. I don't think it's that deep. Maybe because I look like a thin invert they assume I sound like a girl or something. I'm good at falsetto, though, since that's all I do in the car.

I have always throught that my voice is very nasally and annoying but people have told me that it's actually quite deep, which is interesting.
Also because I have a broad northern English accent people around here (western Canada) think it's funny/clever to try and imitate my voice, which was only actually funny the first 20,000 times.

My voice is kind of perfect (not in an egotistical bragging way) just for singing. I mean, I couldn't use it to my advantage, I can't sing for shit because of my asthma causing breathing troubles, but I can do a pretty good pitch range.

It happens. It really depends on the tone of your voice though, It could be really deep when people here you in person, yet you still sound prepubescent over the microphone.

I like my voice plenty. I just think it's a nice, deep voice to have. The only singing I do is in the shower so that helps too. :3

To me, my natural voice sounds like a deep Keanu Reeves. While I'm not sure that's something to be proud of, I can't say I hate it either. I do find it boring though.
