I wonder how altr is going to react?

It is no surprise that people, especially older members are leaving.
I often find myself wondering why I am on Newgrounds, if not for the Video Games section of the forums, I don't think I would be around much whatsoever.

This place feels like a waste land, it all started a little before the redesign, and now it just seems to be in a heavy decline.

I don't dislike Newgrounds whatsoever, and perhaps it is only because I've spent so long on this website, invested so many hours into my account, etc, that I no longer have fun with it.

I think that once we reach a certain point in our lives, we lose interest in things. It's like if I were to try playing with Yu-Gi-Oh! cards again, it wouldn't happen. I wouldn't be interested, and wouldn't know what I was doing - That is often how I feel when I am on Newgrounds now.

I'm sure Mamatequila has a legitimate and understandable reason for her leaving the website, probably something to do with real life, I'm sure she has priorities now and just no time for Newgrounds. Although I do not fully understand the point in deleting an account, because one may find some free time to pop by on a website they used to frequent, like I do from time to time, perhaps it was just a way of telling herself that she is serious about leaving and that it is something she needs to do.

We all look at things differently, and as far as we know maybe she didn't leave at all, perhaps she has a different account that she is using, who knows.

No, she's been deleted. Otherwise, her old posts would be available in Google.

It's better this way. Her children were getting older, and it's only a matter of time until they found her posts and found her talking to strange men on the internet who doubt that Tim Horton is the second coming of Christ.
