I don't listen to much non-The Wall Pink Floyd. I need to, because I fucking adore The Wall.
The wall imo is their 3rd best album of what I've listened to so far. I would recommend Animals if you want more Roger Waters bashing against society, it also has agressive tempos in nature.
If you haven't listened to Wish You Were Here (the album, not just the song) fully, I would definitely recommend you to, especially Shine On You Crazy Diamond, which is just a pure symphony of music and is probably their most well-done prog piece in my opinion. The album itself is pretty much a masterpiece even for it's short length. (5 tracks, 40 something minutes) but even with that, it's still their best album, in my opinion.
