Need help making a Comic 2012-12-14 19:59:29 Reply

Hello! So im not a great artist but i was wondering if anyone here has some experience making a manga or comic?
I need some help on whats the best, format, or app for simulating screen tones and adding text bubbles? I never done

BTW I've been trying out manga studio but the interface is a nightmare...

Keep going with it. Once you're used to it it's the best program for what you want to do. It's what I use for my comic.

If you have some questions about comic making in general I can answer, post them in here. That way I can post my answers publicly and maybe other people could get the benefit of me taking time to do that.

But if they're just questions about how to work Manga Studio or something, you're probably better off reading the user guide, or other guides on the internet.

Well if you look at it from my perspective, if it takes the same amount of time to give advice in one medium as it does another, but in one medium your advice can help only one person while in the other your advice can potentially help multiple people, which would you choose?

This looks useful, thanks a lot for your help :)

Ill also try to make a screen tone brush in Photoshop, the only reason i need manga studio is because of the screen tones.
