Peter Parker's parents met a certain member of the X-Men while at work, shortly before they found out the were going to have an amazing child...
1) Which comic did this occur in?
2) Which X-Man did they meet?

Hmmm... I'm not big on Spider-Man trivia, but I'll take a crack at it...
1) Amazing Spider-Man -1
2) The most over-rated comic book character of all time and X-Man, Wolverine.
So how wrong am I?

Spectacular Spider-Man -1?
And it had to be Wolverine, because it's just not an X-Cameo unless he's there.

No, I was hoping that was the right one before I had to name the rest of the Spider-Man Flashbacks.
And here is a question for you Perdix, besides Thanatos and Morguu, can you name any good death gods?

I'm sorry to say that I have no clue - I stopped following Marvel around 1992/93. Their whole "let's cancel everything, then create 30 different X-books, then cancel everything again" mentality really pissed me off.
And the way they fucked with the Spidey continuity really upset me too - Peter Parker is a clone, then his parents are alive, then Aunt May is dead, etc.
Here's a trivia question of my own though... what hero's real name was Chris Powell?

This is for my second game that practically no one wants to hear about. In various mythologies I'm trying to remember some good gods and goddesses of death, but I am coming up blank. Like Thanatos is the Greek god of death, and Morguu (or Morguun) is the Celtic goddess of death and sex. I've already used Anubis (who is not actually a god of death, but is the guide of the dead) and the Christian construct, the Angel of Death. I was thinking Grim (Wotan), but his MO is more mass destruction than just plain death. Any thoughts?

PS. Ahh, nice and off topic!
Crap, you guys know to much of this stuff. I just liked to look at the comics. I think I was too young for storylines and stuff.
I stopped reading comics when everyone went through the "let's kill our characters" phase. I got the Death of Superman comic, and Wolverine died (oh well, didn't matter much to me. he wasn't my fav.), and a bunch of other people. Then there was some trippy Professor X Universe or something where the good guys turned bad and the bad guys were good. I dunno, I got lost. Then I found out about girls...
