As the new year is just around the corner, i want to redesign my workspace and add some gadgets.
I would like to hear from you what gadgets you wouldn't be able to animate without and what your animation space looks like...
This is what my setup used to look like=>
And now I use dual computer screens with a Wacom Intuos 4 Graphics Tablet. My computer is connected to an amp which is connected to some big ass speakers to make syncing of sounds and editing music a breeze. And for those late nights i use dj head phones sothat i don't disturb the neighbours.

No ways yours workspace is amazing. There are so many interesting things...
Razor, pliers, powertools, pie pans and i haven't seen one of those ancient monitors for years.

Yeah i have but i can't get the technique right and the pages get in the way.
I need to get my hands on that book, i hear it's super helpful. Any other books you would recommend?

All hail Animator Kitty!!!
Clawing your tablet to pieces with each masterpiece :]
It looks like a lot of animators use laptops to work on, the portability is nice but I just can't handle using a small 15" screen after having dual screens. I have even contemplated using a huge Lcd Tv screen.

That's actually the only one I've read so far, the internet is full of great tutorials but sometimes it's nice to have a book in your hands.

I have a cooling board below mine and Flash never crashes. Now that I'm out of college though I need to get a tower pc since I can't use the render farms anymore. The screen size doesn't bother me actually.
SO MANY BAMBOO'S!
i'll send them tomorrow Zee

I don't really use that laptop, it's just to keep my kitty warm in the winter ;D

Oooo clintiq, its so pretty :] it must have set you back quite a bit. I see there is some form of a tablet in the behind the clintiq. In your opinion wich do you prefer to use?

I don't have any experience with clintiqs but if you use dual screens then the other screen would most probably be navigated with a mouse seperately compared to directly on screen. I might be wrong, in that case why don't you extend the desktop?

Wow that is a bloody amazing setup, it looks like you have everything some one would need and the blue colour scheme is awesome. The electric guitars are a nice touch. What type of keyboard are you using?
