The deny button glitch should and likely will be patched soon. So far this looks good. I'd play around a little more, but my phone is nearly dead.

I had the same issue. I denied a request from someone I don't know and they ended up in my friends list.

NG encourages collaboration, and has been a social site long before Facebook existed. We've had user profiles, forums, chat. A friend system is long over due.

A friends list is one step closer to NG becomin a facebook type social site. I think its a good thing. If NG had the option of more pictures on your profile, combined with recent notifications that which are already in place, it be quite convenient. If I had the choice I'd check my NG everyday instead of facebook. Especially since the most entertainment FB has is its lil' pro made games and funny pics. NG is one step pass it with its own user generated art, audio, games, and vids. Potential much better then FB and if their was a writing portal and video portal for all forms of art to blossom on the site. Best part of NG becomin a more social site, is that it'll stand out and be different from the others. FB doesnt have daily trophies or contest like NG, youtube doesn't have the users that really make NG and brighten it up.
