Apparently Myspace has worked from ground up to build this new Myspace.
You can request to get an invite for the soon to be released new Myspace, you can preview what it will look like on the new site. Supposeddly now its an entirely new type of social network which does not really rival with Facebook or Twitter.
Preview site here : https://new.myspace.com/
Looks gross, every damn thing seems to be trying to do this touchscreen-friendly music heavy new design. This does look interesting, though, I might have to give it a look. In the preview I saw a "See which of your Facebook friends are on myspace" button so maybe they're trying to coexist rather than conquer.

Pretty much sums up what I would've come into this thread to say, but you never know, I suppose. It could pull a phoenix, I guess.
Are you MAN enough to click this?!
I barely care about social networks, not to mention myspace. If it somehow makes a comeback I certainly won't be part of it.
i think that if myspace wants to beocoming websited by the queen once more we shoud considor it done

Too bad that no one will go back to it. Ever since Facebook got alot of attention, everyone ditched Myspace. Leaving the whole website as a wasteland. I mean seriously do you even hear anyone say: "Hey dude! I talked to this girl on Myspace!" or "Did you see my post on Myspace?"
Myspace wont live much not with howfacebooks does advertisments and games, myspce was good at one point but now we are in the age of facebook.
There are some aspects of MySpace that I actually miss. Being able to add a song to your profile was cool and when done right the customization was really cool.
For I am and forever shall be... a master ruseman.

Myspace was always music-heavy though.

MySpace died just as I got mine properly running and had to just leave it dead because everyone was on FB.
if they can give a good balance of a music site like last.fm and social shits i might try it

Yea. That's why they went and bought out music websites.

But Facebook is starting to get worse, and I and many others (including ngers) are already tired of it. Also you forgot to write that signature thing you write at the end of every post.
