Did this one earlier today.
For the glory of satan of course.
"Satan Claus"
Finished this one less than half an hour ago.
Mermaids and junk.
Cleverly named "The Mermaid"
I don't like the first and the third one. By putting shadows right behind the characters you are going to make them look like they're literally glued onto the background.

I don't think you want to make your characters look like stickers. And I suppose you're putting shadows right behind the characters because you don't know where the shadow should appear on the ground?
Intentional or not - fix it.
dont fix it anything you dont want to fix man, this stuff is awsome

I'm aware of how shadows work. If I wanted to create a photo-realistic image, I would have.
Go tell Picaso faces don't look like that, Art-Nazi.

Oh God. Why did you make this thread? To showcase your art, of course. But also to receive any kind of feedback the users can give. Take every critique you receive, and don't just throw it away saying "I like it that way". I was just trying to help, okay?

I took your initial post as critique and respected your input.
But when you follow up with "intentional or not - Fix it" You're commanding my art, not trying to help.
@Wash
Lmfao. Thanks :3
- Work on conceptualizing your ideas on the canvas better
- Perspective
- Anatomy
- Use of light
including shadows (you're lying if you think they look good that way, someone noticed a very valid flaw in your work and you fucking flipped him the bird, and don't compare your work to Picasso - he was abstract in his later work, but if you knew anything about the guy you'd know he was a brilliant life painter.
- Weight of line ( using bolder lines for darker areas, finer lines for lighter areas)
- Try using less...BOLD colours.
Always strive to improve, never be satisfied with what you produce, KNOW you can do better and eventually your stuff will look amazing. Seriously, give it a go.
I don't think I'd ever want to meet any of those creatures :(
