It isn't the fact that it isn't sub that makes anime bad. It is because we have a different culture and different censorship laws for starters. It is because of fact alone that gave companies like 4kids and many other before/after them the excuse to destroy decent animes and turn them into a pile of shit.

Personally If it were up to me I would have never introduced anime to public TV in the first place. If anything I would have put them on those premium channels so idiots like 4kids couldn't have gotten their hands on them and completely butcher anime just because it wasn't americanized. Plus by doing that the censors couldn't say shit because it isn't on public TV.
