Your absolutely right , I used to hate it when dts would storm my base. And I had no turret or ves to counter with. lol

Been a long time since I played BW but slow it down so we can watch your attacks. You should of had a Sci Vessel D matrix your ghost once he moved a detector in to stop your first nuke. You shouldn't siege up your tanks before your marine screen is in place. Your Gols engaged too quickly when he was pushing your base. I don't think all of your tanks were in range.

no idea, but, why would you have windows 8 in the first place?

im using it in win 7 and i do have the color glitch, but its nothing to worry about, its just the main screen and some almost visible stripes in water textures

If it bothers you close explorer.exe then resume it when done. (True of most color distortions in old games)

anyways strap, if you are in to rts, you should download "empire earth 1", you probably wont go back to other rts in a while, you have 14 eras and 15 with the expansion that i dont like to use (in each match you can choose the starting and ending era, from stoneage to future), you can customize unit bonuses ingame and before game, 5 resources, without a doubt the game with most units out there (incredibly high), very nice control of the strategy and as it has a humungous amount of units, you can make your own strategy custom made.

you should try other maps, part of the fun about SC is the maze like of its maps and the strategy you need to use in each
