Agreed... everyone on the YouTube webdesign team needs to be strangled and then thrown into a lake.

My only guess is that they are trying to gear YouTube towards mobile devices rather than desktop... if it is for any other reason, then they are just dumbasses.

talking of new features, I suppose it might have been discussed elsewhere but couldn't find it (and I'm too lazy to create a forum topic), would it be possible to have the streamed animation not auto-play?
because having to guess that it will start playing immediately, and then switching to the right page to pause the video and give it time to load (yay for slow internets!) is 3 clicks I'd rather keep my lazy hand from making

also, can't wait to discover an awesome new feature!!

It's all just one big love fest of covering with maple syrup! Anyhow, once upon a time I used to be into coding, that stuff is a right pain in the rear. Just one little spec of miss typed code and the whole thing is skrewed without even the courtesy of a reach-around note saying here is where the code got the lobotomy. It's like those damned Christmas lights that treat every light-bulb as a friggen fuse.
