The Walking Dead Game Thread

So, seeing as the old thread for this was hit with spoilers pretty hard, I'm making a new one.

This is a place for you to talk about the Walking Dead Video Game by TellTale Games. It's an episodic video game that follows the adventures of a man named Lee Everett as he tries to take care of an orphaned girl named Clementine. Thus far, there has been five episodes in the series, but there are rumors that more are to come.

So, who's played this game? What choices have you made? Your thoughts on it?

I actually think the story in this game is much better than the TV show. I've never played it and don't really feel the need to since I've watched the entire game on YouTube. For me it was like watching a cartoon show and it was amazing.

Its really good, the twists in the game gave me chills some times and i really like how unique and true to their personality the characters are. The only thing i wished more in the game is those game changing decisions.

Honestly, I couldn't bare the idea of letting Lee come back as a walker. So I helped Clementine, as she pointed the gun, and I told her to shoot. It was hard for her, but she's a big girl now...

Got the full season for Christmas and beat it in a day. I feel like I should have cried at the end. I almost did, but didn't. I blame the fact that I played Spec Ops: The Line a few days before that.
I'm gonna play through it again, when I get the guts to experience the ending again.

Every time someone mentions "Spec Ops: The Line", I get a huge dumb-guy smile on my face. Such an underrated masterpiece.

I noticed tonight that The Walking Dead Ep. 1 was free on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Not the trial either, it's the full game (well, full episode anyway) free to download. Being the cheapskate I am, I naturally downloaded it as soon as I noticed. Must be some sort of exclusive deal by Microsoft since it did say "Get The Walking Dead Ep. 1 for Free" on one of their many advertisements on the dashboard. Has this happened for any other systems? I didn't notice anything like it on Steam, for example.

Episode 5 actually got me all emotional. From years of playing video games I never felt what I felt in this game.

I just bought these today, and just beat the first episode. I think it's one of the greatest things I've paid for so far this year, I'm really looking forward to it.
It's neat how at the end of the game it shows statistics on who made what choice, etc.

I'm really digging this, and very surprised by how great it is.

Funny this was bumped, I just finished it today.

Amazing goddamn game. My only complaint is that episode 2 was a lot better than the others in my opinion, so the following ones couldn't quite fill their predecessor's shoes.

Shit, episode 2 should have been called "Predictable but fucking amazing."

I cant remember of a game that got me caring so much for the characters...whoever doesnt come close to crying somewhere in the game is just not playing it right.
