Anyone else check out Youtube's new layout today? I think it looks pretty good, and the massive wave of people bitching about it should be in full swing by now.

The web redesign is ok. But the updated android app is terrible. The video is always blurry.

Looks god awful. I don't understand how a multi-billion dollar company can design something so sloppy, unorganized, and un-user friendly.
Are they hiring web-design college interns or what?
Clicking the "youtube" button in the top left no longer takes me to the screen that shows the recent uploads from my subscriptions, now I need to go into a seperate area on there and then go into only showing the uploads.
However you wish to swing the good and bad changes of the new redesign, there is no excuse for making it more irritating to look at the thing people obviously refresh the main page for. Yes I can favourite the uploads section from my subscribers but that is far less convenient to go to than clicking the large home button in the corner. Whoever had the job to redesign fucked up, no ifs or buts to it.
When this post hits 88 mph, you're going to see some serious friendship.

I don't mind the updates on the main site, but every mobile update seems to make it worse and worse. Back in 2009, I used to be able to load videos with no problem with a phone that wasn't android. 2012, I have an android phone and it takes ages for a 2 minute video to load, it pisses me off. Don't get me started on the seeking errors.

I've been dealing with this redesign for a while now (I had the option of switching a while ago, went with it.) And... well, I've gotten used to it.
I don't like a majority of it, but times change. Youtube changes all the time, so don't get too comfy.
I hate the new layout! Are they going to the change the layout every year? YouTube is already getting worse than before!

Same always happen to me. I had a blackberry awhile back, no problems at all. This android youtube app is terrible. It takes 8 minutes to watch a 3 minute video. And errors are always popping when watching a video. And certain videos skip too.

Eh...it's not bad, a little bit jarring in my opinion. It looks kinda pretty, if that makes sense...at this point, it seems like the staff literally just spends their time redesigning the site.
