4.25 / 5.00 13,153 ViewsRed vs blue, in case you don't know, started out as a web series that used Halo multiplayer to record videos. For a while, they remained low quality, until the 4th season, in which they seriously improved. Revelation introduced some actual animation.
But now, they're getting seriously serious about their animation.
I only ever played Halo 2, so i never watched Red VS blue. Over-rated, if you ask me.

I stopped visiting Roosterteeth after they started using actual 3d animation and became all serious.
Some series mix comedy and action well, RvB doesn't.
Especially since they pretty much said fuck you to the video game medium by using pre rendered non in game animation...
Manly-Chicken, you make me laugh a good amount of times... -FunnyHomeBoy

They don't even mix the comedy. Most episodes has to do with a separate event with very piss poor jokes and all around serious business and the other part is the RVB guys acting like fucking retards and trying to bridge the story.
It sucks and I don't like it
Red VS Blue is still making episodes? I though they stopped making back in 2006.

So did I.
Even reading the title caught me off guard, I had completely forgotten about those videos.

Nope, they're still making stuff and I like it just fine

I liked the series too, I'm just surprised to hear that they're still making episodes. I have a lot of catching up to do.
They shouldn't feel proud about what they are doing
you're all doing a great job

What dude? It's pretty awesome.
I mean, what exactly are you referring to? The fact that they moved away from recording episodes with the actual game, what?
I like the Strangerhood. They should remake that.
People still watch that? I thought that was just something thirteen year olds enjoyed.
Oh, this is about Halo, I came here for colors and to say that Blue is awesome.
Red vs Blue is still around? Jeez man, I didn't know that. Last one I saw was the one where that one guy was in a time loop or something. That was a very long time ago.

I thought you were talking about increasing tensions between conservatives and liberals.
They were funny/entertaining back when they first started and I was at the age to where their stuff was hilarious.
But I think they've long died out and ran out of ideas. I'm honestly surprised they're still going. I've met them a couple times at Comic Con and they seriously are the most narcissistic douche baggy guys I've ever met. I'm not basing my opinions on their animation on how the creators are, but it just sours everything.
I'm happy that their animation has reached a better quality. But I feel they could move on and try a new series or game in general.
Reminds me of how Tim Buckley changed his comics from being unfunny to being unfunny and serious/dramatic
I haven't watched RvB in years, but it seems that they really upped their game.
I just found out today that one of my professors does the music for the show
