So, we were talking in the Lounge and we have came up with an interesting idea.

As test-object called it "Tits Thumbnail Thursday."
Turkey suggested to start a topic, and make the flood in January.

I was wondering what type of art was popular on the NG, as I am still a bit new to the site.
The basic answer was boobs.

Let's see how popular boobs can make us, shall we?

The idea is to draw anything you want, preferably ugly and not attractive, except for the breasts. And then use that as a thumbnail when posting your picture.

Of course, it can't be too dirty.
Use Kinsei01's "CHoW 56 Succubus" as an example here: Boob thumbnail, and well, you understand the rest.

Whatever, sounds neat. We had a NSFW flood not too long ago, and it was a roaring success. You'll need a thumbnail though.

Yeah, I did a piece for a flood a while back and it would be cool to see what I could make for something like this. My stuff doesn't really go into the NSFW.

Are you sure? I mean, there's a reason I stated that my addendum of a thumbnail was a mistake. If this whole shtick is about tricking assholes into viewing weird pictures that just happen to have sexy thumbnails, then having a pre-determined thumbnail would defeat the whole purpose, wouldn't it?

Well, what if you make the thumbnail just boobs from the art, so the theme looks like breasts?
How bout like a small thumb, which just shows it's a flood, and it doesn't have to be the actual thumb of the image, just a mark on the image showing it was from the Flood?

I personally think everyone having different thumbnails for this one would be a better idea since its kinda playing off the idea that all you ever see in the portal is tits anyways. It would make for a nice array of titular variety of everyone made their own thumb IMO.

Also I am kinda with the group on this one that each person can do their own thumbnail. The floods normally have all the same thumb, but I feel this little experiment will work nicely with a variety of booby sexy thumbs that are misleading.

People might catch on if all the ones with the same thumb always lead to something unpleasant, but it is more likely to catch them off guard if there is enough variety that they remain unsure.

This seems like a lot of fun. I hate that all the boobs get all the views (TheShadling stands out in this department) so this will be a fun way to kind of make a statement hopefully. I'm in, just set a time.

I'm a little confused on the subject though. Are we making something with a thumbnail that looks like boobs but really turns out to be something else, like a man's butt? Or are we putting a gorgeous pair of tits on something completely horrendous and putting the tits on thumbnail?

Or are both are good and no one gives a shit?

Either way, I'm assuming the best time for a deadline would have to be at least a week after the holidays, so.... sometime during the second week of January, maybe? Even then, I doubt anyone will have bothered. I guess we'll see :o

I think making it sexual would be an obvious thing to do. I'd go for drawing boobs on something. That's what I'm going for anyway. Might as well go funny with this one.

Let me update with some dates and a better explanation, since I think we got this solid.

This is a forum for the Jan. 11 2013 Friday flood.

The topic will be Breasts.

The main concept is to have a thumbnail of your image to be a pair of honkers, hooters, mammary glands, utters, or just call em boobs, whatever!
After the wonderful NG user clicks on that picture expecting a beautiful recreation of a woman, the Flood will surprise them with a god awful (but not bad quality) image with boobs.
This flood is testing the theory of: "Boob pics make you popular on NG."
We got a few examples, including Kinsei01's "CHoW 56 Succubus", as well as some on this topic already.

The image is not intended to be sexual, just basically a picture of boobs to attract their attention in, followed up by a humorous image. If you want to do it sexual, I think it'll change the rating on it, so it wouldn't be really as effective. (Keep it T)

Think of something like... putting breasts on a bicycle, or a coal miner, or maybe even an ugly polar bear Eskimo penguin mutant. Go crazy with this, but make sure the boobs are the thumbnail.

Feel free to post some in progress pictures here.

I was thinking of doing some really messed up stuff for mine, keeping it E of course, but it's gonna be more of an illusion of boobies than actually being boobs. I dunno, that or I'll just put boobs on something. Anything works.
