Mine seems to be 800kb to 1.7 mb...is this any good?
I think its pretty good for a country (Australia) that is known for having shitty internet compared to a lot of western countries. I'm trying to figure out what the best download region is.
The whole download region thing is very ridiculous sometimes download regions further away to me give me better download speeds than ones closer to me.

About 500 - 900KB/S, sometimes go a little bit over 1MB/S. Apparently the highest I got on one download was somehow 10MB/S, but that probably didn't last long.
I hit like 2.8 MB / sec once, but that was on my university's network which is super fast (and that's why a lot of people use it to download films and stuff).
At home I get about the same speeds as you, with the occasional 2.0+ MB / sec peaks.
I tend to get a consistent 1.9 MB/s download speed with Steam, which isn't bad. I've hit 3.0 MB/s before with Origin.
3-4 MB, usually.

That is really good compared to mine. I think it's usually around 200kb to 300kb. I don't feel like downloading something to find out; I have bandwidth caps. I don't have caps between 1 and 6 AM.
Mine usually averages like 2.5 mb/s, every now and then it "boosts" up to like 15 or 20.
Seriously, who even reads these things anymore?
