4.13 / 5.00 17,584 ViewsRegistration for E3 2013 in Los Angeles, CA is opening up in December. I'm ready for my badge application and I am ready to go!
Last year I didn't want to go because I knew it would suck, but hopefully this one will be better than the last ones I've attended.
Many of you might not be able to go because you are not affiliated with a company involved in the gaming industry, but I do think they let non-industry attendees register but it is very costly. This one might be the one not to miss!
E3 is also a great networking opportunity for composers and musicians, so if anyone else is going let me know!

I live in Canada, so the chances of me ever going to any E3 is 0.000% ;_;

Yeah I mean you rounded that number up to 3 decimal places. For all we know there could be MILLIONS of digits after that 3rd decimal place.

I'm about 4KM? Other side of the USA, but planes do exist :)
Also, just heard some news that Microsoft won't reveal their new console at E3, but instead dedicate a whole separate event to do so... But there is more to gaming than Microsoft, it should still be worth going!

Well, like I said, its a VERY great place to network with game developers that are already very well-rooted in the industry. There's only a couple other of events like PAX, and GameSound Con that are like this, but this is a pretty big one, and can be very expensive... In my experience, it's worth the investment to go to these things since it can open new opportunities for yourself as a composer.
