The first one I beat personally was Mike Tyson's Punch Out on NES. I love punch out (just look at my profile pic).

"خيبر خيبر يايهود جيش محمد سوف يعود"
Probably Sonic 3 with Sonic and Knuckles.
Either that, or Vectorman 2.
I think it was the Game Boy Advance version of Super Mario World.
Now that I think of it, I'm not sure I even remember the first time I beat a video game. It might have been Pokémon Blue, back in like 1998, 1999. It might have been something before that, though, something so long ago that I wouldn't remember it. There was a Jurassic Park game for Game Boy, for example, that I remember possibly beating once...
Hear me out, Dragon Quest VIII. BUT WAIT, when I was a kid I was notorious for never beating games. I played Banjo Kazooie endlessly and never actually beat it until it was rereleased on xbla. I guess it would technically be super mario world, though, but I played it with my older cousin.
Sonic 2 on the Sega Genesis, I was 6 at the time.
I played that game almost every hour of almost every day. I remember never being able to find my way out of Oil Ocean.
Pokemon Yellow. Took a long time, and I felt like a GOD. Beating your first game is something special.
I'm actually not sure what the first game that I beat was. My first console was the PS1 and I'm pretty sure that I never beat any of those games which probably means one of my Gameboy games was the first thing that I beat. I'm not sure if I ever managed to get past the Elite Four on Pokemon Yellow which most likely means that Pokemon Silver was the first game that I beat.
The first game I beat was Sonic and Knuckles for the Megadrive when I was 4. I remember because one of my dads mate had been robbed and so he was staying with us for awhile, and he bought a megadrive and a few games for the house.
I'm hesitant though, as I got my first Gameboy along with Pokemon Blue around the same time, so I'm not sure which one I completed first.
I think it's Pokemon Red for me as well, when I was around 8 years old. I've had a few other Gameboy Classic games before that, but I don't think I've ever managed to beat any of them. I happily replayed them over and over again though.
Pokemon Blue, it was a craze at the time so it was pretty easy to find people to trade all 151 Pokemon with.
さあ時の扉を開けて行こうよ
It's probably Pokemon Gold. I had Tetris bundled with my GBC, but you can't really "beat" it.
Next game I got was Pokemon Gold and I fucking loved it. Yeh.
Also, I was five.
I don't remember which one it was, as there were a couple out at the time. But one of the TMNT games for Sega Genesis way back then. I got to the end with my dad and we lost, and I somehow managed to get to the end again and actually win by myself later that week.
I do remember being super proud telling my dad I'd beat Shredder.

I think that was mine, too. I didn't beat SMB or LoZ til a bit later.
Probably Tekken 3. Still one of the all time great fighting games.

I'm pretty sure it was Yoshi's Story on the N64. It's not that hard to reach the end credits in that game...

Super mario brothers 3 for the NES. I was maybe 4 or 5 at the time.
Had to have been Super Mario World, as it was also the first game I played
Crash Bandicoot 1. I miss my old ps1 games...
