Is there any other way to animate then just using onionskin and F7ing?
I need help here...

You can motion tween and shape tween in flash. Use bones in 3d applications. By default key frames refers to mapping out your frames ahead of time and putting inbetweens/breakdowns in. Using f7 and just working it out as you go is referred to as going "straight ahead".

You can motion tween and shape tween in flash. Use bones in 3d applications. By default key frames refers to mapping out your frames ahead of time and putting inbetweens/breakdowns in. Using f7 and just working it out as you go is referred to as going "straight ahead".

I know classic and motion tweening, but shape tweening? Huh?

You don't know about shape tweening? Well, it's pretty useless to be honest. So you're not missing out on a lot, I remember seeing some good tutorials about it back in the day, but I've seemed to have lost it so just check out this one.

Basically, it's a tool where you can shapes that aren't symbols, movieclips, buttons or groups. But if you're the creative type, you might find some cool things to use it for. A lot of people used to use it as a shortcut if they wanted to show a "transform" without having to do frame by frame.
But it should be used in moments when regular tweening just can't do the job. Like a real slow bending of a line or some shit.
I just use it for colour transitions and I don't want to put another symbol in my library.
