This is my first post here - it was suggested that I look for an artist here by the reddit gamedev community.
I released my first iOS game today and the assets are in some need of serious work. Here's the iTunes link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/save-penguin-strategy-puzzle /id570590917?mt=8
I'd like to keep the same kind of feel (cute, cartoony, playful, not deadly, a bit of whimsy).
If anyone is interested I'd love to chat!

Whilst I don't have it in me to do it myself, you've come to the right place! Glad to hear you were reccomended by someone
However I want to help so here are three things I've read in magazines once that I've dug back up, because I am certain they will be of great use to you and whichever great artist you end up hiring.

So is this for the second game or a remake of the first one? If it's a payed gig or one where the artist would recieve a percentage from sales I'm quite keen! Some examples http://luckyde.deviantart.com/gallery/ www.spikescomic.com/reel.m4v
Thanks!

Wow, Lucky, I really love your style. It's not the kind of feel we're aiming for for this game... but I'll definitely reach out if one of our next games could use an eye like yours (btw, I especially like your human drawings. Hey Arnold, and Recess! come to mind). And yeah, we'd definitely be doing a revenue split or outright payment - probably a combination of both.
Really amazing to see how much talent there is on this site. Already found someone that has some experience with the design we're shooting for! :)
And thanks, Otto! Those are some great articles!
