I was wondering what you guys felt about my character "Haze" design (too simple?), and the idea of the animation over all. It's basically going to be like him running away from home, and it is very inspired by Yotam's Nameless 6. Let me know what you guys think! Thanks!

sounds like salad finger.

Yea he's kinda supposed to be designed simply, as a metaphor for his shallowness and simplistic nature.
just kidding I'm just not a great artist, but I 'm obviously gonna spend more time on a bunch of things, thanks
Simple isn't bad, but the simpler the design, the more you are going to rely on motion, clever writing, and very strong knowledge of color theory to pull off something that people will like.
I strongly suggest testing the waters by making a "pilot" or "proof-of-concept" so that you can gauge interest in what you are creating early.

I like it. It's simple and easy to draw, which is important if you're going to be drawing a bunch of frames of animation.
You need to revise this heavily, my friend.
