General Website Critique

It's pretty boring and none of the buttons do anything. Kinda generic looking. As a website for a 'designer', it doesn't really show off any impressive design ability.

looks good, a bit too little to judge at this stage... you should animate some smooth transitions between the menu options like a slide right or down of the content section. Also "#gallerys" shouldn't that be galleries?

I think it looks nice so far (if a bit plain), but if you want a really minimalist look like this to work, I would suggest going with a sans serif font instead of Times.

Google Fonts has a great collection of free web fonts to choose from. Open Sans and Duru Sans are both really pretty.

Also, I have to admit, I'm not sure what each of the menu icons are for - the first one is probably "about me", the second one might be web design, but I'm not sure, I have no idea what the graphs are for (information design?) and the last one looks like it ought to be "settings" which I kinda doubt you have for a portfolio site.

Ok, so I took the ideas that you guys gave me and I integrated them.
