What the Hell is up with these movies? Is it basically a franchise that lets any actor who was around in the 80's join?

Go watch 'Face/Off', aside from being an internet meme (which you can't blame him for), he's a fantastic actor. The purpose of The Expendables so far as been sort of a parody of the action movie genre over the past few decades, a generic plot with a lot of generic 'enemy' soldiers to kill (foreign, of course), a main bad guy who loses in the end and the protagonists who are seen sloshing whisky and licking their wounds as they laugh in victory in their homely little bar back in the US somewhere.
I'm just saying, what do you expect from the series? I'm looking forward to it.
BBS Mod, PM me if you have something to report.

I happen to like Nic Cage. I wonder what role he'll play? Serious ally? Creepy enemy? Some crazy lone mercenary?
Hiring me won't bring back your god-damn money.

Most likely outcome is this, he'll start eating cockroaches and runs out yelling, "I'm a vampire!"
Then it turns out he is a vampire and the heroes including Bruce Willis have to fight him in a epic battle. The heroes won but at the same time, they all dies and the foruth movie will feature a brand new cast of old actors. Eddie Murphy and Peter O'Toole will spearhead the group to battle against the great evil led by Timothy Dalton who happens to be the owner of a porn shop and hilarity ensues!

It took you two movies to realise this
It's not like they were hiding it or what

There are better films to be watching these days?
What, Twilight Breaking Dawn - Part 2?
I would punch him in the face.

Then that makes it worse.

I have zero complaints about Nic Cage being in this movie, at least it'll be alot funnier than trying to cash in on the out-dated human meme that is Chuck Norris. And yes. Nicolas Cage IS the Nickelback of acting.

I didn't even consider him... now I need him immediately.

I thought that was Kirsten Stewart.
I don't know, I thought he was fairly poorly cast in Drive Angry and Ghost Rider, just not exactly much of an action star. Expendables films are terrible, though, so I doubt he'll do anything but improve it.
