They havent shown any unlockables for Smash Bros yet, theyve yet to show the full roster of characters that you start out with. I bet they'll show the secret characters the way they did it last time, by having a picture of a question mark for the icon, and you have to click on it to see who it actually is, that way you can still view the site without seeing any ACTUAL spoilers if you dont want to

I actually did pretty well for Batman Arkham Origins for no spoilers, but I should have been more vigilante for other games.

So, PS4 has launched now hasn't it?
Let the battle begin, but seriously, so far, I've not heard a thing about it, looks like that all those who were hating for Wii U and making fun of it were once again proven wrong, the new consoles will have just as rough time as the Wii U has had, might be too soon for me to say this, but we'll see.
I don't want them to fail, but I do want to see same kind of launch, just because of how pissed off all the doom articles got me.

The launch was horrible from what I heard, but it doesn't mean it will be rough for them. They sold a fair amount of units, and the games coming out for it are strong. Sure the launch games are meh, but with all the greats like Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes, Destiny, Infamous Second Son, and The Order: 1886 coming out, I think the PS4's launch and launch window will be better than Nintendo's.

Bye bye 160€, I just ordered Deus Ex, pre-ordered SM3DW and AC4.
I really just hate buying multiple games at once, I like to take my time with them, especially with the likes of AC, so much to explore, I heard Deus Ex has lots of side missions as well and there is no need to even mention about Mario... It's a damn Mario, they always suck several hours, even if you just rush them.
It's a shame that AC goes for 60€. Deus and Mario, got them for just below 50€

After playing through a few hours of Xenoblade Chronicles, I've decided that I need as Wii U for the sequel alone. :D

Well... sort of, I think (for the right price) I would still buy one for Xenoblade alone, luckily enough though my sis wants a Wii U for her own reasons as well so I'm just contributing game ideas to justify our purchase. Xenoblade isn't the kind of game I want to waste money renting, especially because I live in a dead end town with no game stores around for miles.
So, I guess I over exaggerated a little back there but at least I showed my enthusiasm to get a Wii U, I've been avoiding that console like the plague lately because it was pretty much a wasteland but I'm genuinely excited now.

This is one of a number of games that I suspect will convince me to buy one. I'd be very tempted for the new Smash bros, I love a bit of Mario Kart, and any decent new Zelda is worth buying a system for (I'm currently looking into a 3DS for exactly that reason). But Xenoblade is the big one for me on the Wii U- if that is anything like as good as Chronicles then I'll have to get it.
I remain convinced that Wii U sales are due for a massive increase when any of these finally appear.

Friday will be a good day in America for Nintendo. A Link Between Worlds Mario Party 124567890987654321123456789 and Super Mario 3-D World, just raking in money that day!

Island Tour to be exact. The portable Mario Parties don't have numbers. This one seems to have an emphasis on the boards having complex gimmicks, so I'll at least check out some reviews. I've seen some cool minigames, like one where you have to impersonate a Mario character and whoever has best matching audio wins.

What, did you not preorder it? Or do you just not have enough cash on hand?

I did, then I canceled it and pre ordered Sonic Lost World, then I found out that it sucked, so I canceled it and pre ordered Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag, then I got Batman Arkham Origins, then I remembered bout Wind Waker and jut got it. So yeah basically, for the what ever time this year, I'm out of spending money.....again. I'll just have to hope for Christmas. Oh well life.

I doubt that, N64 and GC are good examples of showing that Nintendo doesn't give up on their systems, don't bring up that...gameboy something.. What was it again? Well wasn't that a handheld anyway?
So far, Wii U is doing ok and if this it how it goes for the rest of it's year and the next one, it'll be fine, but probably won't be a huge hit like Wii was.
I've been on a messy weekend, got myself AC4, rushed the main missions and now am just enjoying the rest of it until Mario arrives. I absolutely loved the story, it had some nice twists on it.
I just wish we would have seen more about certain character, I guess I shouldn't mention since it might be a spoiler for some, there has been several people who are yet to get their copy.

The problem with the Gameboy Micro was that it was a less fashionable version of the Gameboy Advance (we had the SP at that point), and the system was at the end of its life-cycle anyway.
I keep on being surprised by Mario 3D World. I have to say, even better than 3D Land, which was a great game itself.

N64 wasn't really a flop, in any way. At least that's what I think.

I think so too, the N64 simply didn't manage to follow in the SNES' incredibly huge footsteps.

I wasn't claiming it to be a flop, I was just pointing out that even though N64 and GC didn't have as huge sales as the others, they were still making profit and they have some great games that alone are worthy to anyone to still try to find them, in my country, it's fucking hard.

Because it is Nintendo they'll probably be too scared or some shit to release another one, and it will be forgotten. I swear to God one day it will come down to Pokemon, Mario and Zelda if they keep leaving behind mascots like Captain Falcon and Fox. Hell where was Metroid's celebration for it's 20th anniversary?!

There has been a 20th anniversary? Woops - But I'm pretty sure we'll see another Metroid. You're right with F-Zero and Starfox though, the former has been neglected since Gamecube and Starfox seems.. unsalvagable.

Actually I was wrong. It was it's 25th anniversary last year. How sad, not one mention of it as well.

Yup, kinda disappointing, Nintendo's fourth mascot, the one who pretty much invented women kicking ass (even if Lara Croft popularized it) just thrown aside like trash thanks to other M. I swear to God Retro better be at least discussing Metroid with Nintendo, or the very least, Star Fox, nobody else.
