Midi And Fruity Loops Nov. 5th, 2012 @ 04:24 PM Reply

Hello, can any of you help me with my midi problem?

I am an old fashioned guitarist, who for some reason, now needs to trigger samples live...

I have all my samples and loops on Fruity Loops 10 and am currently triggering them by hand with an old Yamaha SU10. I really need to trigger them by foot and have a Rolls MP80 pedal.

I have connected it to my laptop and can successfully scroll through my samples, but can't trigger them. Is this possible?

If not, will I have to hook up the MP80 to the SU10 to trigger the pads, which in turn, will trigger Fruity Loops?

Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated!

Cammy

Each pad on the SU10 triggers a note on the piano-roll on fruity loops. The samples are complete songs and a different sample is, in turn is assigned to a note on the piano-roll
