Looking back at old flashes Nov. 4th, 2012 @ 01:03 AM Reply

So I just took the time tonight to look back at my old flash submissions, and I'm kind of surprised at what I was able to pull off at 13 years of age. They were shitty (some of them were really, really funny actually, which is very surprising) but for a 13-year-old that taught himself flash, it really showed I had talent. It was pretty entertaining to watch/play it all again, besides seeing my poor grammar and all back then.

I know I'm posting this at a time where virtually no BBS regulars use flash, but for those of you who do, did you ever look back at old submissions? You should try it, it's pretty fun (at least it was for me).

I've done this and decided not to do it again. Never look back!

It's funny that you mention this, because I was just checking out my old flashes from when I was 13. I'll check yours out man.

lol, I guess since I'm pretty much done with flash it's cool for me to look back at everything I've accomplished. And see my sense of humor/personality back then compared to now.

Sorry for double post, but thanks man. Just a warning though, some of them are highly offensive/retarded and are not meant to be taken seriously, lol. I'll check yours out too dude

I wish I could flash animate

The work, which becomes a new genre itself, will be called...

I look back at what I have submitted, and I'm desperately trying to jump the car battery that is motivation to animate once again.

...In fact, why do I patrol the BBS when I could be animating instead. No shortage of ideas or time...just...where's that spark?

When I look back at my old Pivot animations on youtube, I remember how bad I was, and how good I though I was lol.
