You're getting the government and private sector confused here. Big business doesn't have much to do with the debt that our government accumulates. Rather, our government accrues debt because it spends more than it brings in through tax income.

I don't see it that way. Without businesses, the economy would be significantly worse off that it already is. Businesses employ people. The people then get money in order to survive. If there were no large businesses, there would be a lot less employment in general and, consequently, much more poverty.

No, I think you're the one detached from reality. A business is owned by people. The people managing the business then employ other people in order to produce a good or provide a service. In return the employees get paid. If there were no business, then there would be no employees, and no one would get paid.

If the workers think the salary is too low, then they find a new job or they go on strike. Yes, these businesses want money. What's your point?
