I used to lurk quite a while back on a different account, and the atmosphere has definitely changed.

The layout is confusing at first, but it gets a lot easier to manage later on.

As for the quality of posts, I don't necessarily blame the posters themselves, but the massive over saturation of "memes" that plague pretty much every forum on the internet. They're good for a cheap laugh, but it doesn't add up to a nice board experience (i.e. why so many 4channers hate 9gag and reddit so much)

But internet communities as old as this never really die. Fads die off, redesigns happen, but we're all in this for the wrong run.

You think so? In my opinion the moderators have become more lax recently. It seems like a year or so ago people were much more likely to get banned for bullshit than they are now.

I think it's just fine this way, took a few weeks to get used to it, but only thing I miss is the old level icons, other than that the design is just great, besides so many people complained about the redesign never coming and now they finally got it ,so quit your bitching.
