I'm working on an assessment for art class that involves designing, producing and creating a ten-print series of a linoleum print. I've been drawing up the design on GIMP and just got it to the point where I can't see anything further to do on it.
I'm happy with what I've done, but does anybody have any ideas along these lines:
- Frame/border (can't think of a simple enough design that will lend itself to the overall mood)
- Background ideas (must be minimal so as not to distract from main focus)
- Any other additions or advice.
*Any* help would be strongly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Clayton.
P.S: Image extension, size and quality was lowered for post.
This might need some color, and for the background, it looks like this will perfectly fit into a graveyard atmosphere.
Also, the right leg of that guy holding the sword - it may be a bit bigger than it should.

The graveyard Idea would work pretty well for this, maybe you should look at some scenery from a movie or a game for ideas I was thinking this reminded me of a game called Dark Souls maybe you can google some of the scenery in that game for a little inspiration
I'm getting more of a Victorian era vibe from it personally. Perhaps have them dueling in the London courtyard?
