George Lazenby closely followed by David Niven. Sean Connery gets a respectable 3rd on the list.

I agree with everything you just said so far.
I kinda like Roger Moore, but that's mostly because he's (unintentionally) hilarious as James Bond.
In The Man With The Golden Gun he just bitch slaps women, pushes some Thai kid (who probably can't even swim) off a boat, kicks his karate opponent in the face when his opponent was bowing to show respect and he puts Nick Nack (a midget) in a suitcase and throws him overboard in the middle of the ocean.
What a hero :p

Roger Moore was pretty good but I much preferred him as 'The Saint', he rocked in that role.

Fag Frisbees Music is stupid
For whatever reason it only seemed to be the Roger Moore films that I saw when I was growing up, with the odd exception. Because of that, whenever someone mentions James Bond it's always Roger Moore that comes to mind.

I'd say that Daniel Craig is by far the worst bond that there has been, I went to see Casino Royale at the cinema and feel asleep, the thing just seemed to drag and i found myself rooting for the bad guys and being a mix of annoyed and rejected by the fact that they failed. I blame this on Craig's horrid acting as well as the other cast members and crew, appauling movie. Although I thought Craig was alright in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Still probably the worst actor in it though.

Moore is my favorite because of the level of comedy that he brings to the films, which when wrote down seems like a terrible idea but it worked. Pierce Brosnan second and Sean Connery third.
I thought both Daniel Crag and Sean Connery have done excellent portrayals. But I have to choose Pierce Brosnan because he totally captured my attention with GoldenEye.

Way to kill your own thread by closing all other option from the first post.
Pierce Brosnan Is the only actor that comes to my mind when someone mentions James Bond. It's probably because I used to play Goldeneye on the N64 as a kid all day, everyday.
Sean Connery by far.
Bronsan was good too, the quality of the movies after Goldeneye wasn't his fault, it was the writing staff's responsibility which screwed him over.
Dalton was closest to the James Bond in the novel.
Moore was the hilarious one of the bunch although his Bond can have the same darkness that Connery and Dalton has as well, I mean watch "Spy who Loved Me" and "For Your Eyes Only".

Sean Connery is definitely first in my book, but I think Daniel Craig is a close second. Craig is certainly a more... solemn Bond, but still plays the part well.

I thought Daniel Craig was the most accurate portrayal of the James Bond from the novels (unless his personality changes significantly in those too, I've only read a couple). Casino Royale is possibly my favorite Bond film. Quantum sucked hard though.
That one James Bond who got all the chicks.
Tick Tock
It's Pierce Brosnan. I'll never forget Goldeneye in my lifetime. Sean Connery does come in a close second, though.
I really like the Daniel Craig Bond movies as action movies, but Daniel Craig definitely isn't Bond in the least; he's just an action guy, like you said, although I do like him in those movies. I can understand people getting upset about him being Bond, but I think he does well in those movies if you forget the fact that it's supposed to be James Bond.
Sean Connery would be my choice as well.

Oh yeah, my dad made me watch the Saint a few times, he and my mom used to watch it as kids, I really liked it, Roger Moore is a great Bond and even better as the Saint.
I'll love you forever

Hey, Daniel Craig is awesome, and he makes an awesome bond.
Honestly, I've never been a Bond fan. I love Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, though, and I've always loved the Goldeneye video game. The new one isn't bad, either.
Sean Connery is awesome. I haven't really seen any other ones beside The Man With the Golden Gun with Roger Moore.
