Don't Escape
I'm a werewolf and it's a full moon. I have to find a way to prevent myself from escaping.

Did you play Ragnarok Online? Do you like that game?
3.53 / 5.00 12,766 ViewsI've always defined classic rock as "rock 'n roll music that is between 30 and 50 years old". Which, by my definition, bands like Poison and The Smiths are classic rock now.
Thoughts on this?
I first realised what a stupid term "classic" is when I heard people start referring to the original Game Boy as "the Game Boy Classic."
I honestly don't care whether or not bands from pre-1990 are considered "classic" by music journalists and record company marketing drones. Just listen to whatever.
Yep, that would be correct. Time is always marching on and stuff. It doesn't really bother me, but I guess it does make me feel a bit old.
The Bird of Hermes is my name, eating my wings to make me tame.
The term classic rock is retarded.
I'll love you forever
Cool people have lots of text here, but I couldn't come up with anything clever.
ScaryPicnic made me do it.
I can't wait for shit like Rammstein, Rage Against the Machine, and SoaD to start getting the classic treatment, lol.

Classic rock is a stupid marketing term used to either A) catch the attention of older consumers or B) attract younger kids who are going through the "new music sucks phrase". Classic rock says nothing about the sound. King Crimson sounds nothing like Steely Dan, who sound nothing like the Rolling Stones, who sound nothing like The Stooges.
I think it's fair to say they're classic rock.
Yay, more jokes!

A few years ago I found my old gameboy, and was amazed at how huge it seemed now.

Game Of Thrones sucks,
All the rock music in GTA: San Andreas was considered classic at the time of the game's release.
Basically, anything that doesn't sound like today's shit (not saying it's bad) is classic.
BTW, I now consider 90's rock, and songs from as "recent" as 2001, as classic rock.
When I think of classic rock, it's bands like Deep Purple that come to my mind. Bands that are, in my opinion, not too far away from sounding like early heavy metal.
Also, this post made my listen to my favourite Deep Purple song: Black Night

No Dean, it's because I'm named after Highway Star, another Deep Purple song.
You flatter me.

That's how I roll!
The more I think about it, the more awesome I realise Deep Purple actually are. I must listen to them more often!

I hate when I think Werewolves is London is coming on the radio, and it's that pigshit Kid Rock song "All Summer Long".

Game Of Thrones sucks,
Classic isn't a genre. It's a status.
This is my signature. It is a nice signature.
I'm inclined to say "classic rock" is a silly term and radio stations seem to stretch the definition of it a lot, but to me there does seem to be a pretty clear distinction between the general kind of rock music from before the ±80's and after.
I mean, just saying "I like rock music" doesn't really seem to be accurate enough when I mean to say I like bands such as Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones. Rock could be anything from Chuck Berry to Nickelback basically.
So I get why people would want to make the distinction, but maybe they should use a better word than classic then.

put more restrictions and pressure on the little guys out there maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang
You know what's really sad?
I heard Green Day play on the "classic rock" station.
Life is a performance, and the world is full of critics. Give it your all like it's your last show.
Stuff you don't care about
It really depends on the radio station and how long the song/artist has been around. I've noticed that the classic rock station in Cincinnati plays rock music from the late 60s {Hendrix} to early 90s, {Nirvana, Metallica} which is similar to what another classic rock station in Columbus plays, but classic rock stations in Parkersburg, WV and Houston, Texas don't play very much rock music beyond the early to mid 80's.
I generally view classic rock as music before I was born, so bands like Motorhead and AC/DC would qualify, but Nirvana and Green Day wouldn't, but they do get played anyway. Actually, it would be kind of funny if future generations listened to Nirvana, Rage Against The Machine, or even Disturbed being played on classic rock stations, which probably have to do with growing older and stuff.
Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.
bud 2000s rock is classic that shit is GOLDEN OLDIES
