I Made A (working) Riotshield!

Thats right, I made a riotshield that is working very well for me for under 100$.

Anyways, I wanted some feedback on how to improve the shield. Any suggestions? I thought about putting a newgrounds sticker on it for shits and giggles but I thought "Nah, the other SLP members wouldn't know what that is."

ALSO; I CAN post a tutorial (I am making more than 1 shield)

Does anybody have any thoughts?

Well actually it is for protest. Counter protesters who think my group is a "Hategroup" for wanting people to stand up and take control of their own lives often will throw things over the police barrier.

Break into your female coworkers' houses and take theirs, I suppose if you got desperate you could settle for vibrators as well as dildos, but if you want them to be up to par, you would have to turn them all on, and batteries can get expensive.

Depends on the black man. If its a black man with a job doing what he is supposed to do there is no need to control anyone. The shield is to block counter-protesters throwing objects at me across the police line.

And its not minorities in particular, its groups like the communist workers party and Black Block (Anarchist group). They LOVE to throw things at protesters that disagree with them.

Well you might need to push around even the well-behaved ones every once in a while, wouldn't want your slaves getting cocky.

Well if that's not your agenda then you might want to rethink your entire group because between using Confederate symbolism and having almost no minorities in your group you come off as a bit racist. If it's so bad that you have to go out of your way constantly to combat accusations of racism instead of promoting your actual agenda then you're either racist and don't want to admit it or do a terrible job of representing your ideas.

I think when you glue two panels of material together, they become much stronger or resistant to shattering. Medieval shields are made by glueing animal skin or rawhide onto a wooden shield and car window shields are made by glueing two panels of glass together which is supposed to stop the window shattering completely if is broken.

Although if the material is strong/heavy enough as it is, then i wouldnt do this as it may become too heavy or make it so you cant see through the clear panel.

Maybe add extra protection for where your arm is in front of the shield so if anything already does penetrate the shield, your arm and hand should be safe.

Thanks, the production of these current shields are already in progress but when we make a second version they will probably have the things your talking about- I also am talking to some people about getting fiberglass/aluminum parts for future shields that are still durable.
