i actually watch minimal television, if i'm actually not with my friends i either netflix up the bitch, browse the 'tube, watch something on NG, or browse the bbs like a fiend.

I just can't stand the fact that we actually pay companies to stream all of our favorite adverts crammed in between programming and somehow justify the fact that we give them more money to do this. i understand that advertising pays the bills but for all of the advertisements one has to witness in a lifetime, they should honestly be giving us some benefit of the doubt compensation.

His grammar really looks absolutly fine to me, you are trying to sound smart and edgy when you aren't.
Correcting grammar is someone without an argument to get a word back, but in this case, nothing much is wrong with his grammar, he only messed up on "year" and "is not" so you just made yourself look really stupid.
