Html5 ?? 2012-10-14 20:17:35 Reply

Tom just posted in the Cabin Jam forum that they got HTML5 working!

Does anyone know how you can upload an HTML5 game? Or if it is even possible?

I gave it a shot and for some magical reason all is well. Thank you good sir.

I believe that you have to PM an admin and they will publish the game for you.

Im pretty sure an HTML5 game is a collection of small files and a Web page. it would not be easy to integrate the game to just any Web page as the layout and style of the game may conflict with the host Website. Plus many people do not have a HTML5 compatible Web browser.

Firefox recently became HTML5 compatible, and I think google chrome so as well. Im not sure about safari, opera, or IE.

Just about any modern browser supports HTML5. And people who still use IE6 or IE7 shouldn't be allowed on the internet at all.

Ya the HTML 5 standard will not be finalized till 2014 and I heard there are many small additions to come years after.

Anyways, IE9 has almost no HTML5 and has poor CSS3.
Opera 12 is the only Opera browser to ever pass W3C certification.
Chrome releases many updates and versions because it's got so many small bugs.

But still Firefox and Chrome are the best by far and the most up to date.
