So basically my team (me and PSvils) won't be making the deadline for this one. We made this big elaborate map with loads of stuff going on and it ultimately became too much work to finish in 48hrs. PSvils does have a working version of the game but we decided to put some more work into it this week to polish it off and submit it as a stand alone game. Its a shame we can't submit it tonight but it will be cool to work more on the game and add more stuff!
Anyway, below are some screenshots from the latest version (some textures are missing such as from the ground) but you get the idea.
Good luck to all the teams that entered their games tonight!

Looks like a great concept :P Thanks for sharing the screenshots man! Keep up the great work guys!
We are still adding music. Here's our take of the theme: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/16549708/Games/Cabin%20In%20The%20Wo ods/index.html
Hey Tom, just to clarify - fixing minor bugs and adding medals post-deadline wouldn't disqualify us, would it? As long as we don't change the gameplay?

We just got HTML5 support running this past week - I PMed you with some details. There's also a Unity entry to the jam! We're close to having support for that too. Cool to see the other platforms in the jam. :)

We just don't have the time to fully finish the level, and it's frustrating, because we are sooo close to actually have everything done, just the level wasn't done (too much art).
Yeah...
It'd be great if some of you guys wrote post-mortems about your jam experience. Things that went well, crazy work-arounds to finish in time, what didn't go well (mine will be full of this), etc.
Is it an ante-mortem if you haven't finished yet?

As the programmer of the last game jam winner, I dispute this statement. We were right on time.

Thank you, Tom! Here is our game: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/604457?updated=1
However, the music didn't work. I hate you HTML5....
We recently updated our game. It now features music (it takes a few seconds to kick in) and we revamped the control scheme. I encourage you to play again and give us feedback. We know it's a little late to change, but our team believes it's for the best. :D I hope you guys enjoy playing it.

Cabinalt is now fully released, now featuring 200% more cabin, and 1% more woods.
Ante-Mortem? If my teammates ever log back into Skype, we're gonna make the game more Halloween-themed for the Spooktacular, I guess. Unlucky weekend for all 4 of us, unfortunately :( IT SHALL BE RELEASED ONE DAY!
At least I now have an artist who does things...

I feel sorry for you but I can't stop laughing. That was both the most awesome and worst thing that could have happened.

We released our game yesterday but I guess I should post it here too.
After 48 hours of nonstop work all of ur eyes and dicks hurt from over masturbatory sequences.
Plus 2 hours after it was realeased of bug testing and fixing.
Well, its finished.
