which do you think will beat each other as in sales and whay not? i think halo 4 because think about when halo 3 came out i sold like what 1 million copies in the first day?

It's hard to tell. Both are extremely popular. I have a feeling Black Ops 2 will sell more though, seeing as it's cross platform whereas halo 4 is 360 exclusive. I do know my halo roots are going to cause me to buy it on launch though. I myself don't get much enjoyment out of the call of duty like games. I just can never get into the setting.

Black Ops, no doubt. Cross platform VS. Exclusive platform- Sales favor the Cross. It's like a business- It's like International vs Local, do you get my drift?

Agreed, they already ruined Halo with Anniversary, but the downfall of Halo will be 4. Black Ops 2 will be great, Treyarch has never failed with Call of Duty.

Sales wise, definitely black ops 2 because it's multi platform. I'm getting Halo 4 first because I have tons of real life friends that still enjoy the living crap out of any Halo game. Oh and forge world.

Halo 4 is going to be the better game but I'm sure BOII will get the most sales. But Halo4 will probably get more rewards in this years E3.

Obviously Call of Duty, but both these games have to live up to more than just there expectations to make them fan favourites, I'm really hoping Halo 4 won't be a huge disappointment.

Halo stopped being relevant after the third title, which was by far the best. I don't think the general gaming community really cares about Halo anymore.

Call of Duty keeps smashing sales records every year, so obviously Black Ops 2. Halo 4 will be a much better game though - this time last year I wasn't interested in the slightest, but now it seems that 343i have made the best Halo yet.

That's because Call of Duty seems to feel the need to pump out another entry every year while with Halo they usually take a few years between releases. More time spent on it means it will be all the better in the end.

Black Ops will sell more. After working at the hole that is GameStop for a couple years, you learn that most people who play don't give a shit about the story and just want to knife everything. Halo will be a better game and its fans more loyal. Yeah, you'll have twelve year-olds talking shit, but there will be more of a sci-fi fan base that plays. In all honesty, I don't know many COD players that are also into science fiction.

In terms of overall sales, Black Ops II would definitely beat Halo 4 because of the many different consoles it could be sold for. But in terms of game play... Halo 4 would blow CoD's brains out it's ass with the scarab gun Chief found in New Mombasa back in Halo 2.

Actually it's set in the future and has futuristic weapons, robots. ect. which mostly fits into science fiction. By the way OP Blops 2 will probably sell more (due to multiplatform) but Halo 4 overall will most likely be a better game with a longer lifespan aka not be replaced by a new game next year.

This is my opininon and people might get mad...but i think Black Ops 2 looks kind of bad SO FAR, so my mind might get changed later on. Halo 4 looked pretty cool from the campaign gameplay. I was more of a fan of the Halo series though so i might be a little more for that side anyways. :/
