Did you have an imaginary friend when you were a child?

I heard this question asked somewhere. It wasn't directed at me, but i thought about it.
At first i thought i didn't have one, but then i remembered that i had a teddy bear. And i brought it with me to many places.
That teddy was my friend and i shared things with him.

So, did you have an imaginary friend when you were a kid?
And do you think it says something about the person you are?

Wouldn't even have really known what an imaginary friend was if I hadn't watched Drop Dead Fred as a kid. What an awesome movie. It's been way too long since I watched that. Wonder if it's still as good.

Really now?
And how different is the spirit's point of view from your point of view?

To be fair, that is probably better than having an imaginary friend.

For the record, no, I never did.

Well, I was 7 when Sonic Adventure came out for the Dreamcast. I remember playing that game over and over, deleting my saves almost every week just to start from the beginning again. I loved that game.

After a while I came up with an imaginary friend that was a water based being like Chaos 0 that I pretended to save the world with. I can't remember the name I came up with for my imaginary friend (Something unoriginal I'm sure).

Gotta love memories.

Apparently children who had imaginary friends end up having more social interactional skills as they grow up, so it is actually a very good thing for children to have one.

However with that said, many imaginary friends are malicious and scare the children.

Yeah. he was my imaginary friend. I use to wake up in the middle of the night and steal cupcakes from our 'fridge so me and Nathan could eat them. we also ate cans of frosting, and left over dinner that was supposed to be my dad's coz he worked the late shift and didn't get in until 11 or 12 in the morning

There is this toy cow I have, I got given it when I was 5 years old in hospital, I named it "Mr Moo Moo", I used to sleep with him all the time, and ask him things, feed him, stuff like that, I don't play with him now since I'm older and more mature, although, Mr Moo Moo still lives... under my bed.

i've had several over my time, usually based off of characters from something i had seen or played.

First - Evangeline Sethren Talix - killed during the assault against The Thing In The Darkness. great friend though
Second - Lapis Ortan Kryallis - we still visit in our dreams (one of my human friends was hanging out with her in the dream[!])
Third - Cosmo Cyrallian Caliente - great friend, better sparring partner.
Fourth - Blaze Asendere Terra - Pyrokinetic, but she never wanted to show her power, lest people think it was me who incinerated their friend.
Fifth - Krystal Casternal Arkas - same general personality type as Lapis, excellent sparring partner, Aura Warrior

RIP Eva. you will never be forgotten so long as i draw breath

I did have imaginary friends, but I wasn't committed enough to keep them. I'd always forget their names and just make up a new one.
