Has it ever happened to you that you post a reply to a thread and then it just dies? As in nobody responds and you get the feeling you just killed the thread.

I don't think the threads deserve to be killed, I think they deserved to be tortured and tortured until they finally cough out that one last miserable breath, that one last post that really didn't need to be said, that one last remark that broke the thread's back.

Generally I respond to topics that I see, and that I haven't responded to. If someone then responds to my response and I can respond, then I do. If the thread dies after that, it is not really my fault then.

Yeah, I do that all the time. Usually the thread's near it's death anyway, but still, it sucks.

I think around 1/4 of the threads I respond to seem to die (give or take). It's kinda an odd feeling when that happens...

This happened to me yesterday, I was so dissapointed to find out that only 2 people posted replies :/. One time I made a thread that had over 300 reply's, forget what it was about though.

Yup. My posts are so conclusive that they shred the mere essence of everyones ability to make a worthy response.

Well... Yeah IDK sometimes I'll just say something to point out that obsolete nature of a thread and poof it dies, other times I'll be like "yeah that's cool" and then bam dead thread =/
