So who's looking forward to getting stuffed up?

PS .The NG Calendar has it marked down on the 15th but it is on the 8th. You Americans never get anything right about Canadians.

Such a weird holiday you Americans have; you do this one day and be 'thankful' for the things you have, just to alleviate your world-guilt for the rest of the year. I don't hate Americans but you can understand why a lot of the world does.

I'm not. I always went to my uncle's house for Thanksgiving, but he committed suicide on March 6th (or 7th) of this year.

Newgrounds goes by U.S. holidays, American pal.

This thread could have waited until Halloween week. It's October for fuck's sake - it's bad enough that Christmas shit goes out before Halloween.

I get paid for not being at work, which is a bonus. But I don't really care about the holiday so I'll probably just do what I usually do on my days off.

Let's murder some Native Americans and become friends with them over turkey.

what the hell?

What guilt do i have? Please tell me what i am guilty of. What have i done that i deserve to be hated? What reason do i have to feel guilty really? It's not like i support every action my government takes, and it's not that yours was any better when it was the british empire otto.

It's about being thankful for what you have, not about guilt lol. Also about native americans apparently saving colonists from starving to death.

It must have been ironic celebrating Thanksgiving back in the day since a large part of the nation was intentionally driving the natives off their land or essentially committing genocide against them.

Yeah, well they didn't really celebrate it annuanly till later. I don't imagine they would be inviting the native americans to thanksgiving after that first one either.

Yeah I'm sorry for driving the natives out of their land and claiming it as my own. I was going through some shit, then.

Right, like we're responsible for every one of the world's problems. Especially since that there are a lot worse governments out there, who do far worse things to people than what America has ever done. Granted, we did support some of those things, but it isn't like we could peek into the future and see what they were going to do against us, now could we?

I don't hate Americans but you can understand why a lot of the world does.

Simply put, haters gonna hate, not much we could do about it. TBH though, it's more piling on the bandwagon than legitimate gripes.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of all time. And in my opinion, it is the only REAL holiday left to the world.

Most holidays are merely sell out days, sales and blah blah blah.

Thanksgiving is similar, but there's less bullshit. It's really all about sitting down with your family and eating some good food.

If only we did this every fucking night!

I get a few days off from school.

Good. Also, Oct-Nov-Dec are the biggest months of the gaming year, so the days off are welcomed. As for the actual holiday? I'm not too partial to it.
