first, i would like to point out that 10.000 =/=10. because the former expression implies that the number is not exact (only up to 3 decimal places) and therefore should not be used to describe post count. you should always use the number 10.

also, 10,000 =/= 10.000. since 10,000=ten thousand, while 10.000 is of order 10 only.
