First of all, let me apologize if I have this topic posted in the wrong area.
My friend InfectedSausage (who also just joined) and I have had ideas for a show that we plan to create on YouTube. We've thought out a lot of the information for the show so far, and here is a bit of it:
Story:
'Ever wondered what the greatest actors, Jason Statham and Sylvester Stallone, in the whole galaxy do when they are off camera? Welcome to the real world...'
The show will not only consist of Jason Statham and Sylvester Stallone. Other celebrities and made-up characters will be included into the show, and will be fit well in the story.
Here is a small list of characters:
Jason Statham - Loud and brave. Quite smart and is good with his fists.
Sylvester Stallone - Clumsy and very funny. Good with guns and great at doing speeches.
Bruce Willis - Owns a burger king down the street. Very serious, over the top, dramatic and can shoot well (just not as well as Stallone).
Robert De Niro - A fat lazy man who would do anything to get himself in comedy roles. Seen a lot of times acting on set, eating food or having an argument with Al Pacino.
Some characters may have main roles in the story, as some others may be in the background most of the time.
Currently, we are looking for an animator. Neither InfectedSausage, nor I, have any experience in animating.
I am curious to know if anyone here would be interested in helping us with this.
I'd just like to say that the animation doesn't have to be 'amazing' at all. In fact, gritty animation is recommended for our type of show. It would be in a more..cartoon-ish style.
If you have any questions, or are interested, comment below, or message one of us.

This is basically the gist of it. I have written down the whole idea for the first season, which will have 7 episodes. Like UP said, the animation doesn't need to amazing at all. It just needs to have a style to it. (we also don't know if we are posting in the right board)

Would you be providing the voice work for this?

I've got a few actors (we still need quite a few more), and I am voicing Jason and UP is voicing Sly Stallone :)

Thats cool, voice acting is something I've always felt uncomfortable doing.
Wish I could help out but I've only just starting to put more time in my own animations, but the more this is talked about them more interest it's bound to gather, sounds like something worth watching :)
Have you both tried out animating yourselves? You'd at least have a lot more control of what happens.

Yeah, I can definitely understand what you mean by the control, but I've tried animating on more than one occasion in my life, and I just can't get a hang on it. You could say it's not for some people, maybe.
I'm not entirely sure if InfectedSausage has done any large amounts of animating, but neither of us really feel comfortable doing it.
I think we'll just have to keep trying to find someone. If you know anyone who could and would like to help us, would you mind letting us know, please?
But thanks for responding, at least. :)
We'll continue waiting here, I suppose.

Yep you did. Post to the Collaboration forum.

Ill be sure to ask around, never give up though. The greatest creations are those who have fought and worked their asses off, you should be no exception.

Why thank you :) Yes, we will try hard to get our animator, and I've already written some script drafts and all that.
