I am trying to upload a new song onto newgrounds. But every time I try to upload the audio file, it says "This appears to be an invalid MP3 file" Does anyone have a solution?

Check again the filename, don't use illegal characters.
Also, remember to save it at 44.1 kHz and max file size 15 MB

Try all of these possible fixes in this order:
1.) Make sure what you're submitting is an MP3 file.
2.) Make sure it's sampled at 44.1 KHz (you can check this in Audacity).
3.) Make sure it's less than 15 MB.
4.) Clear your cache, refresh the page and try again.
5.) Change the filename. From my experience, filenames which are too long or have special characters such as '#' in them may fail to upload.
6.) Try a different browser.
7.) Re-export the MP3 file and try again, taking all the above precautions.
8.) Send a clearly-named bug report via PM to liljim outlining your problem with details, links and screenshots.

I have two amendments to that:
- Do step 4 at least 5 times
- Somewhere around step 6, try using a different program for the mp3 conversion. What you're using may have some hidden settings that fuck it up. (Audacity works 100% of the time for me).
This happened to me recently - all I had to do was remove the brackets on "(Instrumental)" and it worked.

Can you tell us what audio program you are using to save it as an MP3?
